Docters are antagonistic to women giving birth and breastfeeding - the whole process is a lot more adversarial than it needs to be. Though this includes female docters and nurses. As a society we malign taking your children out of the house and caregiving in general - though this really fucks everyone.

For a start, I disagree that shitty portrayals of women in film, television and other entertainment media isn't a real problem. Maybe not the most pressing issue in the world, but enough of a problem to be worth bothering with.

They can't serve in certain roles in the armed forces. Sure, those are generally really shitty jobs, but they do have a lot of appeal for some people.

There are loads of subcultures where being a woman means that you won't get taken as seriously as a man, some of them linked to profitable or prestigious careers.

Female fashion and beauty standards are a pain to live up to. Yes, men have fashion and beauty standards too and women do also get advantages from things like being able to wear makeup, but it's a mixed bag.

The traditional gender roles for flirting require that the man makes the first move while the woman waits to be hit on. While this is easier on the woman, it also means that she has a limited choice and has to put up with a lot of social awkwardness at times when she's not prepared for it. A man can choose not to get rejected when he isn't feeling good by not hitting on women; a woman has to be ready to reject guys at any time.

There is violence specifically directed against women. Against men too, but 'men have a problem' does not in any way imply that women having problems of their own doesn't matter. That's the kind of mentality which leads misandrists to think that if more women than men get raped, male rape doesn't need to be addressed.

Overall, I'd say that women have it better than men and some of the things I've said are pretty trivial, but it does add up and I think that feminism is still very much needed in our society. What I think isn't needed is quite so much feminism or such hostile feminists.

I think abortion is one, but it's hardly oppressive to women. Unfortunately, women have successfully shifted the focus of the abortion discussion to them instead of the ethical and moral discussion on conception and human life.

I heard that women in the western world get diarrhea a lot. That could be considered one form of oppression.

In order to liberate the British - all they have to do is stop letting inbred people run their government. (JOKE!!!!!)
