Try starting with Warren Farrell's The Myth of Male Power and Christina Hoff-Sommers' The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism is Harming Our Young Men

Both have very solid academic credentials and well worth investigating their work.

Feminist theory is hard to criticize because it makes few, if any, testable predictions. It is unscientific by definition. The quote that comes to mind is, "It's so bad, it's not even wrong," that is, feminist theory is unfalsifiable.

I suppose if you wanted to look for critiques of feminist theory you would start with critiques of patriarchy theory.

Why would you need anything peer-reviewed to debunk anything about feminism. Feminism is simply idiological musing based on whatever whimsy a particular feminist happens to jot down.

The best description I can think of would be... Feminism is a conservative movement of law enforced chivalry to infantilize all women.

Take partiarchy theory, for instance. In essence, it is the theory that women have always been oppressed through all of history by the cultural influences of male domination. Which is a perfect theory of non accountability and infantilization.

If we say that virtually all the great inventors, artisans, philosophers and so forth in the past were men. Feminists will respond with women were oppressed so they couldn't do those things, if they had been allowed to do those things, we'd live in a utopia. It requires no proof, only that there be an oppressor, (male domination) and the oppressed, (female victim).

Where as feminists can say how men made wars, or somehow destroyed the planet. It doesn't matter if those wars benefitted women for their protection, or if the resources used that damaged the planet were for womens use, survival or to adorn themselves with precious gems. Once again the bad oppressor man is blamed for running the show and the innocent victim woman is blameless no matter if she was the sole beneficiary. And of course feminists conjecture that if women had been running the show, all the bad wouldn't have existed and we'd once again be living in a utopia. No proof required.

Feminism infantilizes women. 1) They are to blame for nothing. 2) They are accountable for nothing. 3) They are responsible for nothing. 4) They are to be protected. 5) They are to be provided for. Isn't that the very definition of an infant?

Here is a good one, the authors are feminists, but they expose academic feminism as more religion than anything else.

There's probably not a large amount of academic stuff yet, since our movement is very young and has not yet percolated through to the dark and ignorant depths of old-fashioned journalism and academia.

Google "is there anything good about men?", by baumeister. Not a peer reviewed study, but a solid academic piece by a respected academic.
