I'd was also shocked that she was so adamant that radical feminism minimized biological gender when I have seen discussions on radfemhub and femonade in which multiple participants dreamily and happily discussed gendercide of men.

Second-wave and radical feminists have been spouting "womyn-born womyn" hate since at least the 60s.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of the reasons given have to do with oppression (transwomen don't grow up as girls), male privilege, and absurd fear that trans-inclusive policies will be abused by men.

The irony, of course, is that this attitude itself oppresses transwomen.

I guess I would respond to that by citing this lecture which goes into detail between the connection on gender identity and sex. The relevant information is in the final quarter of the video. Although I do agree with her that gender shouldn't be enforced, but I don't agree that we should be upset when we find out that the natural state of men and women isn't a genderless identity.

Janice Raymond's views are particularly disturbing. She sees a male-to-female transsexual as being some sort of parody of a 'real' woman, and an attempt by men to colonise and retake control of femininity.

Also stumbled across this extract (PDF) of a paper by Dr Soran Reader which repeats this bigoted view with academic pretense. Would love to see the whole thing.

Hilarious. But I have to chime in here and say that transsexuals are a fucking joke.

It's just like saying you're a white man in a black man's body. Hilariously stupid and biologically impossible, the transidiots can't even come up with good arguments when they get argued with and use the ability to change genders and be socially accepted as an escape from the gender roles imposed on them by society.
