Is there a list of famous men who have committed suicide? If so could we create a link to this to highlight male suicide issue?I see this as a mens rights issue, in the same way there are female only places to go for help (rape shelters etc) there should be male only place of refuge.

I want to suggest you rethink this until you've consulted with people who work in the field of suicide prevention. Particularly for young people, there is a danger that it could be seen as romanticizing or idealizing suicide. I want to be clear that I think your heart is in the right place, but your focus may need to shift in order to be most helpful.

I think it'd be better to highlight the common man. They have different problems than male celebrities, and therefore would be better examples of what men have To go through.

However, the only male celebrity I can think of off the top of my head is Kurt Cobain.

Sorry, I find it difficult to think of suicide as a men's rights issue, unless you want to start painting every bad thing that happens to men as a men's rights issue... which would be unfortunate, if nothing else, because it's one of feminism's favourite tactics.

Now, if a link could be established between the prevalence of suicides among the male portion of the population and the presence of anti-male bias in pretty much all levels of society, it'd make more sense.
