Yes I would...people shouldn't be barred from children's sections of any store just because of what they could potentially do. That's a guilty until proven innocent attitude and all that does is instil fear in everyone that all adult males are potential paedophiles that need to be kept away from children at all times. Even though studies show women are just as, if not more, likely to harm children, I would not want them barred from children's sections at any store.

Yes.

There are so many situations wherein an adult would want to be in that section without a child.

First that springs to mind is buying a surprise present for your child.

It's a ridiculous policy idea, because it treats all adults as potential child molesters, and ignores the frequency with which parents and other (childless) adult relatives shop for books as gifts.

Paranoia and hyperbole are not a good way to react. Those responses will not prevent crime. All they do is perpetuate fear.
