Oh, good grief. Obviously these teachers didn't go to school where I did back in the 70s and 80s. Girls not violent... right. We used to beat the hell out of each other. :/

Back in high school, our class was discussing fighting with the teacher one day. She stated how she would rather have males fight than females fight. We asked her why she said and she said "When males fight they stick to their opponents and don't bring in bystanders as much. When a teacher has to intervene, especially a female teacher, the males stop and avoid hitting the teacher. When females fight, they tend to bring in bystanders and will hit teachers. They also turn fights dirty. "

This is what you get when society removes the whole sugar and spice socialization. It will get worse, and that's a good thing as it will destroy the myth of female moral superiority -- hard to see women as morally superior when they keep smashing your teeth in.

Well of course the girls are more violent than the boys. The boys have been told they're entire lives that them engaging in any sort of physical violence is the absolute worst thing a male can do, while the girls have been a steady diet of "girl-power" propaganda.

I don't understand people who fight. I was sitting around in some sort of mall thing, because we'd been allowed to miss school to go to town to see the All Blacks come through (I wasn't really interesting, but I didn't have any classes I learned in on that day, so I was glad to have the opportunity to miss the garbage classes. As well as everybody was going), and as we were sitting there, some girls just start going at it - hair-pulling, punching, screaming - the works. How does that solve your problems? It would be like punching a feminist and expecting her to change her views in your favour, or if an atheist punched every Jehovah's Witness who came to their door.

Not even looking at this article, I agree because ive seen lots a school fights. About 2/3 are between men, but the women are always in drama and hate and mini-cliche wars. On top of that their fights are usually worse cause between guys, there is still the thought of a fair fight.

Aren't we, at r/mr, constantly reading the message children get: "boys, don't hit girls". Educate boys not to be violent. Punish boys for violence.

The message might be successful. Boys are getting less violent. And women get violent role models in the movies. And finally, less violent, less chivalrous boys don't keep female fights under control and in check.

School counsellors say girls have become more violent in the past 15 years and boys have become less violent, apparently reflecting feminist messages in popular media.

The reversal is dramatic. Only five years ago the Youth 2007 survey of 9100 secondary school students found that only 2.9 per cent of girls, compared with 6.8 per cent of boys, admitted to bullying others at least once a week.

Last year, 11,000 females of all ages, compared with 38,000 males, were caught by police for violent offences.
