why don't feminists ever approve of women making choices of being prostitutes or porn stars? they always shame these occupations. feminists have been the ones rallying for ban on prostitution since the beginning. prostitution was widely accepted back in the "patriarchal days." the reason why feminists are against it is because they want women to keep their control over sex.

1) men should have easy access to sex, without the fear of being penalized by the state. today, due to the glorifying of women as a result from feminism, most men can't get laid. 2a) men shouldn't have to rely on commitment for sex. 2b) thus, men shouldn't have to deal with a woman's bullshit just to get some. feminists recognize that legal prostitution would mean that men would be less tolerant of women's bullshit, and as a result women would have to step up their game to get commitment from men. 3) if feminists are truly against violence against women, legalizing prostitution would help the women who are being abused by their pimps. prostitutes can then set their own price, their own terms, etc., without the need of a pimp/organized crime. it would liberate the women in a sense that they are no longer property to the pimps.

but apparently feminists are willing to look the other way and throw the same gender they're supposed to be helping under the bus just so they can keep their power.
