So after the Grammy's Miranda Lambert tweeted disgust at Chris Brown being honored there. (which I agree with) However, she went on to say that he should listen to her song about killing an abusive ex-husband.

don't get me wrong I think actually hitting your partner is worse then singing about killing your parented, but my question is why does she act like a champion for humanity after praising killing? Does anyone else find this infuriating? I don't mean to say that what Chris Brown did is ok, but I also don't think a song about murdering someone should be celebrated as championing women. Violence is violence regardless of who it is aimed at, and that should include men, even men that have done something bad (like hitting a spouse.)

I honestly believe if a man were to sing a song about killing a women (think eminem) even if she had hit him or cheated or something, people particularly women would be up in arms about the glorification of domestic violence. How is killing someone who hit you not also domestic violence? (just to clarify I don't mean in an accidental self-defense kind of way I mean in a premeditated not heat of the moment kind of way) Also a confession, I don't listen to her music so maybe her song is about a heat of the moment self-defense killing, but the broader point remains as I can think of other songs that glorify killing abusive ex-husbands Anyway, that's my rant, hope some of you agree.
