Even if being circumcised meant you had a better sex life and a chance to win the lottery it should still be banned until the person can make that decision themselves.

Similarly with regard to circumcision, one of the reasons for it is, in my opinion, the wish to bring about a decrease in sexual intercourse and a weakening of the organ in question, so that this activity be diminished and the organ be in as quiet a state as possible.

BTW, this should not be construed as Jew-bashing. The circumcision prescribed in the Old Testament/Torah was far less damaging than the one instituted by man about 150 A.D, revived among non-Jews by Victorians, and still practiced today.

With an uncircumcised penis you don't need any lube in order to masturbate, in fact lube just makes it harder since you want to have a good grip on the foreskin surrounding the head of the penis. This is why so many religions use it: to make masturbation, a sin, harder and less enjoyable.

I've had a lot of problems in the past with dryness during sex. My last girlfriend was Norwegian and she said she had never encountered this problem before. She also said that I was much less sensitive than her past boyfriends, but paradoxically, less in control of orgasms. Yeah, it caused some tensions. I've found that if I don't masturbate anymore and I use lots of added lube, my sex life is OK, but I wish I had been given a choice.

Evolution isn't stupid. All kinds of things we used to think were expendable, they no longer recommend be removed except as a last resort (appendix, tonsils).

If I had known half of what I know now about male circumcision I would have never had my son circumcised. Everyone said it was the right thing to do though, including my husband.

So it's another study that states that circumcision causes loss of sexual function. Which is funny since there's dozens of studies that state exactly the opposite.
Similarly, this study was done in Sweden only. A country that has exceptionally few circumcisions and will gladly throw the oddity under the bus.

Roughly five percent of the population is cut. That's enough to be an error in of itself in statistics.
Tack on a few gems that are just outright lies:

And you've got a lovely man bashing article to make circumcised men feel like shit when, in fact, they're functioning just fine.

Come on, guys. I know that MR has a bias against circumcision, but can we please not throw bullshit into the mix?

Edit: I had no idea the reason MR disliked circumcision due to sexual perfemance, I always thought it was the non neccessary risky cosmetic surgery being performed on a non consenting party. Silly me.
