Herman Cain shouldn't have to 'prove' anything in the first place. The burden of proof rests with the accuser, so it's up to the women to 'prove' they were harassed. This country is supposed to operate under the notion that someone is innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately, this happens less and less nowadays, but it's how I look at things, so I don't believe Cain has done anything wrong. If these women can come forward with evidence to the contrary... That's a different story. However, since these women waited over a decade to 'come forward', I doubt they're going to be able to do so.

tl;dr Herman Cain isn't guilty unless you can prove it.

The offenses could have been quite serious.

They could have been quite minor.

Since only one woman is talking at this point, it's a he-said she-said and I'm fucking sick of hearing about it.

If, say, 10 women come forth with credible stories about how Cain subjected them to verbal and physical assaults in the workplace, THEN I'm interested. I don't want people with that kind of chronic behavioral issue in positions of power in my government.

I think Herman Cain is an idiot. I think he would make a terrible president. I think the fact that he is being taken seriously as a candidate is absurd and speaks volumes about the stupidity of the typical Republican primary voter.

That being said, I'm always extremely dubious of any allegations that come from someone being represented by Gloria Allred. She is an ambulance chaser of the worst kind, and what is worse she calls herself a feminist when she is nothing of the sort. She is a craven opportunist who will ruin anyone's life or ambitions if it makes her money and gets her press. I dislike her more than I dislike Herman Cain. And that is saying quite a bit.

do we know that the women are lying? no do we know that Cain is lying? no. what do we know? that at least 4 women have come forward with accusations, 3 of them have been paid off by Cain. This alone gives me enough pause to question whether or not this man is capable of running this country add in the fact that he gets is economic advice from a video game... yeah I'm gonna keep looking.

My thing is, who really cares if he is innocent or guilty? He didn't fuck them, he didnt father illigitimate children, they weren't men. Theres really no scandal here.
