Wait, I thought anything under 14 was a MAJOR offense that they take seriously. Like not even the 2-3 years age difference applies if someone is under 14.

The judge attributed her offending to a troubled background, low self-esteem and alcohol abuse.

And yet men can't even be drunk to the point of not remembering anything, if they have sex with a drunk woman they're still responsible.

I totally find this story/outcome disturbing, but can I say to the men who are cyring "double standards"...suck it up!! Just keep justifying your lusty sex drives, the porn industry and your double standards when it comes to how you treat your daughters as opposed to how you educate your sons. This also reminds me of back in 2001 when a child psychiatrist gave permission to a 15 year old BOY to have sex with a prostitute (without his parents knowledge) because he wanted to and was dying of cancer. Had it been a girl...

Judge Sue Pullen wholly suspended O'Donnell's two-year, five-month sentence and placed her on an 18-month community-based order despite her previously breaching a similar order for an attempted robbery.

Crime Victims Support Association president Noel McNamara said the sentence was a disgrace.

"If it was a man on those charges it would have been a different story," he said.

But it's ONLY "men" (males) who are career criminals, right?

Here I just finished a conversation with a MRA who said that, under similar circumstances (plied with alcohol and forced to have sex) he would "Chalk it up to an error of judgement and get on with my life."

So, is getting someone drunk and having sex with them without their (adult) consent always wrong, or isn't it?

I'm of the opinion it's always wrong.
