i'm reminded of yesterdays(?) post on ~~women~~victims of DV killing their ~~men~~ abusers, and the ramifications regarding DV ending.

now, i am not, of course, recommending killing girls or women that hit you, that would be absurd. but if a girl or woman hits you once, you should retaliate, with reasonable force.

why is this bad advice? It would be even better if you replaced girls with people. There is no reason to encourage unnecessarily escalating violence.
