Also, dont post any info that could lead to other sites with your info. (fb links, gamer profile links, photos of you, screen caps that reveal locations/usernames, etc )

Users who reveal others' personal information should be immediately and permanently banned. We need a zero-tolerance policy on this kind of intimidation.

Not only names, but any distinctive personal information, even if it only seems tangential. What I find amazing is the r/redditoroftheday. They fill out an questionaire, and put in information. Some of that information can sometimes be both abstract, but so distinct that you can actually find a picture of a redditor, and their legal name.

Privacy on the internet is tricky, and it's better just to be able to stand by whatever you put out there, be it posts on Reddit or pictures on Facebook. I've probably missed out on some employment opportunities because of weed-related posts that can be tracked back to me, but it's an issue like Men's Rights to me -- people's lives are getting screwed for no reason, and I'd rather stand by those concerns than hide in the shadows.
