Hi everyone. There has been a change of moderator status on r/MensRights, for those who didn't notice.

As the new mod, I wanted to let everyone know my policy - nothing is changing!

Honestly, I was happy with the way kanuk was running things - very minimal intervention. The up/down voting is sufficient moderation for people who think that a link or topic isn't appropriate for the topic of the subreddit.

I have recently seen a few people report people that they feel are trolls, or posting off-topic information, or what have you. I will not moderate such posts, as I feel the downvote button should be enough for that. I believe in free speech, which includes dissenting opinions. If you don't like what someone said, feel free to downvote them.

The only things I will get involved in are obvious spam, or absolutely out of control posters that are getting dangerous (kanuk tells me this has only been done once in his history as mod). If you really think something needs to be reported, go ahead, but keep in mind that I might disagree with you and re-approve the link.
