Not surprisingly, an article written by a woman condoning violence against men as cathartic. If we took THE SAME article and changed the author to a man and reversed the genders (ex - change "Shutting up and smiling through a husband's humiliating infidelities..." to "Shutting up and smiling through a wife's humiliating infidelities..."), watch every feminist commentator in the media have a frothing frenzy.

For the uninitiated in the audience, that is how you can determine bias in an article. If you reverse the roles and you get offended, you agree with the bias.

And I think Cassio (whose comment appears to have been removed while I was writing) has already avoided admitting that she would be upset if the article were written with the genders reversed.

Do you even have an idea why honor killings are committed? They don't compare.

Some honor killings are done for the exact same reason. Some for "lesser" offenses, like marrying without their family's approval. The question Tomek asked (also removed since it was a response to her comment) is still valid, even if he did personalize it. I would like to paraphrase it and ask everyone that intends to comment that they believe "Tiger got what he deserved":

Since you feel Elin had justification to beat Tiger, do you also believe that Tiger would be justified to beat Elin if their situations were reversed?

I wanted to brutalize my cheating ex-wife and the two guys she messed around with. I wanted it bad. I still dream about it sometimes. But I know the score. She tortured me with this shit for years and I was to stupid to leave her. After years of that my anger was like a laser beam.

I'm a man and if I even for a moment dare to give vent to my anger I'll end on death row for multiple and probably kind of twisted homicides (I'm sorry but I really want the guys's scalps)

I find it funny that the world as whole associates sex with love and fidelity.

It's a fucking physical act that fulfills a physical need, much like taking a shit or pissing.
