The common thing ignored is that it makes perfect statistical sense that a lot of mass shooters are white men. Most shooters are men, and ~75% of people in the US are white, about ~85% in the UK. So we would expect about that many white male shooters if all the distributions are uniform. They are essentially expecting minorities to commit disproportionately many shootings, which just sits weird doesn't it?

The fact she talks about "true equality" is laughable, when you dig she'll probably start to talk about "racial equity" nonsense, rather than actual postracialism.

Last paragraph hits the nail on the head. You even find people ignoring the fact the slave trade still exists and many white people are currently enslaved in the sex trade (eg. in/from Eastern Europe) and so on. (the slave trade is bigger now than it's ever been, but talking in actual numbers rather than proportions) Or the participation of non-white people in the slave trade, with some higher class black people being complicit in the slave trade and selling slaves to the West, and having them themselves. This is all at risk of erasure with this conspiracy theory that white people are the "worst thing to happen to the world" and responsible for everything bad in it. Suddenly the theory about race being a distractor from class issues makes much more sense.

The alt-right doesn’t need to recruit. The left already do this for them. All they have to do is tell people that there’s virtue in the color of their skin or simply say that there’s nothing wrong with it and proceed to offer a sense of community and acceptance. The journalist may have been fired, but her speech is pretty popular among the identity politics left on social medias.

On your final point, definitely. But it does appear to be condemned at this moment, with a mainstream centre-left paper firing the lady. I find people sympathizing with her only in online spaces such as Twitter, which are full of unreasonable people anyhow. And even then, there are few.
