I think we are different. We can achieve equal amount of success but in different ways. Not better, not worse, just different.

I had always thought that both genders are needed and neither is uniformly superior to the other.

The number of articles I have seen touting the superiority of men is few and far between (if there are any at all that see the light of day). But EVERY SINGLE ARTICLE claiming the superiority of women is based on fundamental logic flaws, biased metrics, and emotional arguments.

It's a stupid idea.

Yes, Gender dimorphism is a thing. Women are physically equipped to make and raise children. Men are physically equipped for fighting and hunting.

The rest is IMHO up to a mix of specific genetics and nurture over nature.

yes. men are built to be stronger. and this is reflected in things like sports.

But a trained female MMA fighter could probably beat the ass of most guys ezpz.

That's why I think the idea is stupid.

Gender supremacy would be the bigoted idea that one gender is better than the other, for some reason. That is certainly off-limits here in our egalitarian sub.

What I do believe is that there are differences in gender that have been instrumental in the survival of our species. I see nothing wrong with noticing the differences (e.g. that men are on average physically stronger), as long as we don't attach value judgments to those observations. We need to value both men and women to function as a society.

Gender supremacy is stupid.

If there are différences it s important to remember those are averages and caps, and Can t say everything about somebody :it s an insult to éducation and individual différence:If you are "stéréotypical" or "not like the other [insert gender]"it s fine either way.Bigotry(ie ideas of supremacy, putting other in boxes they did not put themselves into) is the only thing worth drawing a Line in the Sand.

The 100 chess players with the highest ELO-rating in the world are men. Is this partly due to sexism? Maybe, but I don't think without sexism 50 would be women, I'd rather think 20 or 30 at most. Does this difference matter? Not for chess as such. But it shows on average men think in a more mathematical way (which is not automatically a better way), which may explain male preference for STEM fields etc., and a reason to be very careful about affirmative action in these fields.
