There will always be a small number of ridiculously super-wealthy men shifting the average pay way up for men. But these outliers dont affect the majority of men. If men and women have "equal" average pay it just surely mean the vast majority of women are earning more than the vast majority of men

Most of today’s pay gap in the U.S. is due to forces that push men and women onto different career tracks in the economy, not differences in experience and education, or other unexplained factors.

Now do the workplace fatality gap.

Personally, I would like to see women earning the majority of the money. The vast majority. It would be great. And I guarantee you in the event that did happen - and it might with the rate boys are being left behind in education, the complaint will be men are lazy and need to step it up and where are all the marrigable men?

Tbh their goal has always been equality of outcome at the top, at places where there was a majority of men. They never denied that, they just ignored all the other aspects of it or made it a 'patriarchy hurts men too'-narrative. Nothing new and you can hardly call it a conspiracy.

The problem with alleging conspiracies is that most of the harm done in the world is accidental. Like the current lockdown, which probably happened because an overworked employee of the Wuhan virus research center skipped a safety protocol and infected themself with coronavirus (fuck you phone company for not recognizing that word).

Mistakes are far more harmful than actual malice.

This is a basic part of human psychology: why do we care more about the 3000 folks who died on 9-11 but not as much the 3000 people we lose every day to the rona?

Easy: the victims of 9-11 were killed by the deliberate murderous intent of the hijackers. The virus victims were not killed by another malicious human who intended to attack them, so we pay vastly less attention.

Part of thinking clearly about politics is to correct the tendency in your own mind. Be aware that we all are inclined to give too much importance to intentional malice and far too little to unintentional harm.

Yet you still are a conspiracy theorist. There might be a handful of feminist radicals who want to exact vengeance on men and see men suffering as the right thing. Those are the ones in academia, mostly, who create and popularize BS concepts like the wage gap. The pressure to get more women hired comes from people swallowing that propaganda. As a result politicians suffer a pressure to "fix" that issue, or to be seen trying to do so, in order to be re-elected.

The politicians themselves don't want to harm men. The government doesn't want to harm men. They are just like everyone else. Pathologicaly blind to men's suffering, sure. But not trying to harm. The issue is the ideologues in academia and in the media, more than in the government.

So you still are a conspiracy theorist, because you explain by intent and desire to harm what can be explained by self interest.

Your claim shouldn't be that "the government is trying to harm men". Point at the individuals.

But politicians is very often the last source of things. They are mostly a reactive force. They react to what is asked of them. By the people who put money in their campaigns. By the people who represent interest groups with the ability to have an impact on elections. Etc. The skweeky wheel gets the grease. It is rare for politicians to start making things that are asked by no-one, supported by no-one, and against the wide popular opinion. If they go against the popular opinion, it is because it is asked by someone. If it is asked by no-one in particular, it is because they feel it will get them popular support.

Do you know many people who will say "I won't vote for this guy, he made women work more in traditionally male jobs"? I don't.

But I know what would happen to a politician trying to prevent that. And so does the politician. The feminist machine will start turning and make a shit show of it, making sure to ruin the immediate future prospect of that politician.

If you want to know what it looks like, the feminist stupid machine turning until politicians do something stupid that harms people, I advise you take a look at the series of video by YouTube TL;DR (aka Teal deer) on the drug called Addyi.

In this case, the harm was to women. But "women are owed a drug to help their sex life the same way men have viagra, otherwise it's sexism" was the slogan the machine ran with.

The cause of this is almost exclusively the lack of marriages, which implies women are working instead of being with children at home.

But which is it? I though you guys supported women working as much as men?
