As someone politically who's mostly very liberal and progressive with the vast majority of my politics and someone who also cares about men's issues (I'm a man myself so naturally this is something relevant to me), it's refreshing to find a left-oriented and leaning sub dedicated to male issues without right-wing toxicity. I stopped frequenting the Men's Rights sub as too often there's a lot of right-wing BS on there and nothing but complaining and constantly blaming the Left for feminism out of control. And as someone who was raised by a single mother I also took much issue with their constant single mother bashing and hating on there, to the point I actually got into a rather heated argument with one user who ended up throwing a big fit. It's too bad because I feel male issues are often ignored and swept under the rug, and it's unfortunate people like this are the ones most vocal about it.

It's rare to find left-leaning anti-feminist content or resources online so this sub is a big breath of fresh air. I'm firmly opposed to modern feminism and find it's every bit as harmful and damaging as right-wing extremism is, but unfortunately nearly every anti-feminist resource online and especially on social media is usually very right-wing, which isn't in-line with my politics at all. I feel modern feminism is anything but liberal or progressive, and find that right-wingers usually just complain and whine non-stop and never actually doing anything about male issues and instead exploiting them to justify their own prejudices.

I'm usually quiet about politics and try to avoid it whenever possible, but the non-stop bombardment with feminist and women empowerment stuff is so annoying and the exact opposite of equality to me. Yet at the same time I'm also firmly opposed to extreme right-wing politics and am as anti-Trump as the next person. I'm all for legit equality for both genders and feel no gender should be more advantaged than others and that's what I feel modern feminism is all about, which in turn is the polar opposite of the original women's suffrage movement. It's so refreshing to find a left-leaning forum that's critical of modern feminism.
