I agree that the “refugees” coming from the Middle East are pretty cowardly. Majority military aged males running from responsibility to their homeland. They are economic migrants looking to exploit the goodness of the welfare state of Europe. The EU needs to accept women and children only for temporary refuge. On the other hand though...most people who die in maritime disasters are men and most who survive are men but that's entirely because most people involved in maritime disasters are men. Since few women are generally on board boats/ships and even fewer children. This doesn't even take into account the physical capability differences between men, women, and children that would increase male survivability.
