The crime of rape is defined by state laws which vary. The conversation you show seems predicated on the idea rape is forced sex, which is typically not the definition.

Many states define rape as being penetrated without consent. Lack of consent doesn’t mean forced. Such laws are of course biased in that heterosexual sex typically involves a woman being penetrated by a man. This is why in cases of intoxicated sex, it’s always the man who is considered the rapist and the woman the victim even though they both made the same decision under the same circumstances. Again it’s very biased.

There are also a few states such as Georgia which still define rape as a crime men commit against women. By state law definition a man can’t be raped in these states. Also, incredibly biased, but that is in fact the law.

So, to argue about men vs. women being raped misses the underlying problem of the gender biased definition of rape.

As far as idiots claiming men can’t be forced into a sexual act: A. You could provide examples, of men who have in fact been forced. Providing real examples proves it can in fact happen. B. Don’t waste your time on such idiots.

Okay…I know you’re frustrated, and you have every right to be.

But if you’re actually looking for solutions, the thing is that some people don’t actually understand how female to male rape works. To be perfectly honest, I was one of those people who didn’t actually understand (although I never came out and said it like this person did).

Try to realize that the problem mostly lack of empathy, not due to an unwillingness to empathize, but due to lack of information. Especially if your ignorant specimen is a female. I don’t know what to say about it if they’re a male. (White knighting, maybe?)

Explain to the ignorant female humans that men can’t consciously control the way their genitalia responds fo stimulus any more than females can control how their body responds to stimulus.

You don’t have to be a total dick about to though. Just try to be nice and realize the person you’re dealing with is suffering from stupidity - and that sucks - we all hate when we’re the stupid one.

Also, remember that on a public platform you’re not just speaking to one person, ever. You’re speaking to the world.

View this as your opportunity to demonstrate two things. Firstly, this is your chance to educate the public. Secondly, by responding calmly and respectfully with information rather than cheap comebacks, you’re humiliating your opponent by comparison. Which is fair and well-earned.

If you follow that tactic for people like this, you’ll often find lurkers coming out of the woodwork to praise you for your levelheadedness and logic.

That is when you know you’ve succeeded in actually making a difference.

So turn it around. Use that person’s failure to be a decent human being as your opportunity to eliminate a chunk of people that would have followed in their foot steps.

Keep the end goal in mind, always. It’s not about what that one petty human thinks. What you are fighting against is far more important than their meaningless, utterly insignificant and grammatically incorrect word barf.
