Why the double standard when it comes to rape? I mean if the story was "she murdered her underage male student on the beach" the newspapers wouldn't spin it as "she stopped an underage male student's heart on the beach" or "she escorted him to eternal slumber at the ocean's shore" or "she un-alived him".

I hate it when people try to make things seem less (and exaggerate and make things worse at times) than they appear. Women in particular do this because they always want to be in the most favorable light. And I get that. But own up to your mistakes. For example: When Jada Pinkett-Smith had the affair with some 20 year old actor, she didn't even acknowledge the word "affair" she said "entanglement". Why?
