"Step 2: Claim men aren't suited to this brand new future"... what?

I'm very sure there's a lot of things wrong on this.

The article at no point asks the question whether men are welcomed or feel welcome in these spaces or professions; the exact same question would no doubt be asked be the genders reversed and it about STEM. If you know a nurse you'll know why men wouldn't want to work as one and why many leave; god the are cliquey.

It's pretty two faced to used arguments of egalitarianism for one gender to bring about a world that is better for them, and then turn an absolute blind eye to what become of the other gender.

I think however we are seeing male and female agency at play. Males are considered to have agency. It's our fault when we are the bottom of society. It is also out fault that women suffer too, it's our inability to be better. On the other hand women do not have agency, they are at the mercy of others, of society as a whole. If they are at the bottom of society it was someone elses doing; someone who had agency - a man. Of course this is antithetic to many feminist belief but sometimes you'll see it trickle out.

In the scenario today, and from this article; it was the Patriarchy's fault the world was terrible. Now the world is good all of a sudden, and the beasts are at bay so to speak, men are no longer for this world. The Patriarchy in their mind is dying now and this change we are seeing is natural in their eyes unlike Patriarchy, and the world of yesterday, where men had some unfair advantage that women didn't. Now women succeed in greater numbers than men and they pay little attention what becomes of men because women do not have agency or ability to hurt men. Men of course, because they do have agency, are failing not because of society (which feminists believed oppressed women) but themselves. Their own failed existence is their fault alone and they have no one to blame for the job they lost. Meanwhile gender quotas still exist, and women are claiming they are the compassionate gender. I hope they raise their sons well. "
