And the creator did a fantastic job, well played! A little background, I help people create sales funnels online & build brands. Study a lot of cults too because while they're terrible, the things they use for persuasion are quite effective (think Apple, they use a lot of these tactics).

Here's the 5 step to indoctrinating anyone into your "brand":

1) Justify their failures - Do I need to say more? "All the men are bad" "99% of men suck" etc etc. And won't lie the posts they do with users coddling people by saying it's not them in the wrong it's the world that sucks feeds more into that. Check.

2) Allaying their fears - This one is pretty interesting & in full effect. Boils down to follow our guidebook and you will get the mythical "HVM". Their guidebook gives the users a sense of comfort in this "scary world". A+ job, Check.

3) Confirm their suspicions - LOL. Check Check Check. Every post on there that hates men and thinks most men are LVM gets upvotes & the hivemind which isn't allowed to dissent amplifies that, only the voices that support the overall narrative gets pushed to the top.

4) Encourage their dreams - You will find a HVM one day if you follow our tactics. And the ONLY way you can do it by following the sidebar :D Text book, check.

5) Throw rocks at their enemies - lmaooooo. The makings of any good cult, us vs. them, the classic. Don't need to re-iterate that this is re-inforced by every other meme out there.

I've been following FDS from the beginning, don't really give a shit about the content but from a marketing perspective it's a great case study on how to build a cult that doesn't question you.

Now they're leveraging the following into a podcast, will be fascinating to see how that plays out. Let's see what the conversions are going to be and how they'll monetize.

I don't even hold any animosity for the posters, I feel for them, because I use this in my work all the time I know how powerful the methods can be & how anyone can be shaped by them.
