I find it unbelievable that some men think a woman is to blame for being raped if she was drunk. So, if he got wasted and a man raped him, would he also think this way? Was it his own fault? I think not. There goes the logical sex again...

But of course, noone wants to touch his dingleberried ass, so he's safe, drunk or not. He'll never need to ask himself this question.

Great study, it is a shame they missed out the porn question.

Also if any FDS women here are in research, this is what we need more of. There are too many LVM male-funded research studies that are referenced throughout cheap journalism that LVM love referencing to back up their misogynistic world views.

We need more studies that examine the whole picture fully, and that explore male socialization, its resultant psychological profile and the unexamined impact on society.

Awful to think this was just at one university so I'm sure similar results would be seen across the UK.

Scary to think that we live among these people. It's never just a 'joke' or a bit of banter. The kinds of sexist jokes and attitudes we hear snowball into real violence against women and it must be countered in every instance.

We must raise our boys to be better.
