I've found most people truly don't understand the pain that you go through unless they themselves have been suicidal. I have on numerous occasions fought with it, and somehow I still am here (don't know why). What I have found is that very few people truly understand how to give that level of support when it is needed. It doesn't help that there are those out there that do it for attention and not because of the pain they feel. That tends to minimize those of us who have had to cope with it. What I've found is there are fewer and fewer people out there as I grow older that I can truly depend on when I do go through it, and I hate to say it but at least for me typically they have not been female with only 1 exception. I couldn't give you an explanation as to why that is, just that it is. There are always options out there if you go through it again where you can get help. In general I wouldn't suggest the hospitals since they are only looking at keeping you alive from a liability angle and don't actually truly care about what you are going through (At least my impression from a few people who have attempted where I am at). At this point in my life I can only really count on a few close friends that way. I hope you have some that are similar and not like these 3.If you need someone to vent to who does understand the pain, I'm happy to listen as well.

Brother I dont want to victim blame but you engaged those people for far too long. If you're looking for support, for someone to hear you, and the first answer you get is "you're putting on an act", that's it, disengage, that person doesnt have your best interest at heart.

Social media isn't a great place. Try to reach out to your parents, family, friends, or whoever you know personally. These trolls on social media don't care about anyone. Stay strong and seek help. But this is one of the worst places to do so. Hit me in the DM and I would love to help in any way I can.

Sorry that happened brother. Unfortunately the internet brings out the most bitter people, and these women are no exception. Youre likely better off seeking refuge in smaller communities focused on mental health.

You asked for help on Reddit? Be careful where you ask for help on here, it is not a happy place for men. What form did you go to? Probably not even standard suicide prevention boards will be helpful to a man which is wrong and horrible. Please put in more effort to decide if the type of people you talk to are open to hearing your story and concerns. Some of the comments are harsh but based in truth; reddit is a cesspool of lack of empathy and concern for men. Choose where you decide to be open.

I'll probably get downvoted for saying this, but put your hope in Jesus Christ for salvation from this insane world. Please find a good Christian church that teaches from the Bible, and don't put your hope in this ugly world. If you believe in Jesus Christ for salvation, he will save you from perpetual Hell after you're dead.

This is why always see a professional, eventho those can also be hit or miss, at least they have a formal process regarding everything.

These women can't seem to think in any other terms aside from who wants to "get access" to their vaginas. And that says a whole lot more about them than it says about you. I always suggest people look at the source when women make these comments - especially about objectification. These people are objectifying themselves when they act this way.

They've taken your personal hurt, loss and devastation in it's most serious form - suicide - and made it about their vaginas. Isn't that what some women seem like experts at doing?

They say MEN make everything about sex, and only think about sex.

I think THEY are obsessed with their own sexuality, and are constantly "wired in" to explore ways that they can exploit their sexuality.

The irony here is that when I caution men about getting involved with mentally ill women (batshit crazy, Borderlines, gold diggers, cheaters, addicts) the venom from "team girl" is astounding.

You're dealing with people who I like to refer to as "narcissistic cunts". There is no talking to these people, or reasoning with them. There are standards for you, but none for them. There are rules for you, and none for them. There is an excuse for ALL MANNER of shit behavior from their side, and only unrelenting and unforgiving scrutiny of your behavior. When they do wrong, they always have an excuse for it. But if YOU are unliked for ANY reason (bad behavior or otherwise) they play the "Rapey", and "Creepy" and "Misogynist" cards like a 20-year UNO veteran. They don't miss a beat.

My advice to you is confide in people who you know who YOU LOVE, who LOVE YOU and you can trust. NEVER discuss your innermost problems (especially regarding self harm) with ANY assholes online or women in general. They don't give a fuck about you.

You know the people cheering "Jump Jump!" at the ground level while a man stands on a ledge? That is these people. They're fucking soul-less assholes and you should NEVER give one single fuck about what they think or say about you.

And that's all I have to say about that.
