The crazy thing about women is all of us aren’t the same. Shocker, I know. For every woman living the so called “sex in the city” lifestyle there is a hopeless romantic waiting on her soul mate.

So for you to generalize all woman as if we’re a monolith tells me you and other men are just looking for an excuse to take ANY woman less seriously.

Because let’s be honest, these “sex in the city” type women are giving men what they want. NSA sex. The problem only comes when men who want to have sex with these women aren’t because these women don’t want them. And suddenly men are complaining about the lack of morals from these loose women while secretly longing for them.

Slutty women are only bad when men don’t get to sleep with them. Slutty women are only bad when they aren’t at your beck and call. Slutty women are only bad when they’re also having sex with other men while you’re having sex with other women.

I've long speculated that TRP, and the manosphere more broadly, is just the latest flavor of sexism. The lingo might change, but the message is still the same.

Anyway, most men I know aren't RP. They don't see casual sex as an issue. So to act like TRP is a foregone conclusion seems a little ridiculous.

Men and women both affect each other, it's expected and it's totally okay. Both men and women are interested in casual, stereotypically men more so. "Free sexual market" has its own benefits and downsides and although it might be harder to navigate in it, I'd guess that most people wouldn't be okay with retuning to old gender norms.

Men don't have to be gentlemen (whatever you mean by it). We're all free to choose whatever role models suit us as long as we don't break laws. Others are free to react positively, neutrally or negatively to it.

Personally I'm okay with what we have now, although I guess Russian dating scene is rather old-fashioned compared to the US. But people generally are less shamed for casual and both men and women are free to explore their options. Although slut-shaming and homophobia are still pretty common. A lot of people still stick to some form of traditional gender roles, but the vast majority of men here has never been "gentlemen". Sure, some chivalry is declared in social norms, but it isn't really that wide-spread to call most gentlemen or chivalrous.

And I'm saying that I'm okay with all of it even though I've never really participated in casual scene myself. I'm into egalitarianism and I'm not really keen on traditionally masculine men, so it's not that I'm losing anything. It doesn't bother me that others have casual sex, have FWBs etc. I think it's great that people are free to explore themselves.
