Here on reddit, we always see men with the Madonna whore complex. They slept around yet seek virgins or women with low n-counts. What is often not discussed is that women themselves seem to uphold the same complex - they are enjoy particular sexual acts when young and wild, but would not do the same with the man they wish to settle down with since it is seen as disrespectful.

Before anyone comes for my throat, I shall first say that men are not obligated to sexual acts that their partner has done in the past. What a woman has done with their exes doesn't mean they must do it for their current partner.

What I do find a problem with though, is that women are slamming men for the Madonna whore complex, yet uphold it themselves. They enjoy oral, anal or other sexual acts with their partners when they were younger, yet refuse to perform them with their husband because they see their relationship as more than that. The most common is when a woman refuses to do anal with their husband because it's a degrading act and she refuses to 'taint' their intimate relationship like that.

It is an entirely different story, if she tried it in the past and did not like it. In that situation, it is acceptable because otherwise, the woman is forced to do something she did not enjoy. However, if she enjoyed doing them with her exes (casual flings or serious partners), yet refuses to do it with the husband because of fear of being perceived like that, then that is the complex.

Please remember that the person you end up with - whether you are a man or woman - is someone you ideally want to be sexually adventurous with. You can be both a serious long-term partner, without having to compromise on being sexually adventurous and experimenting with each other.
