I was watching this video on my youtube recommendations but I kept getting bothered by the implications that only women can "get rich by selling their bodies" whereas the same opportunity isn't nearly as readily available to young men.

Men and women have comparable minds -- for example if we are hungry, we eat some food. If we are thirsty, we drink some water. I watched this entire 2-hour video by a Stanford professor about dopamine and I assume it makes "evolutionary sense" for men (who must fight/compete for limited sex due to the 80/20 rule) to get a dopamine reward when they see young, attractive women that are 18+.

Are sex-linked differences between men and women heritable? They must be (obviously) but it just doesn't make sense to me that sexual selection works the way it does. The following news article isn't the one I searched for but it is similar enough so here it is:

https://www.theguardian.com/science/2014/sep/24/women-men-dna-human-gene-pool

Basically, why is it that any woman who wants sex can get it whereas men "at the top" have access to sex with multiple women but guys closer to the "bottom" of social hierarchies do not pass on their genes to the next generation.

My hypothesis might sound cruel but is it due to the indifference men have regarding sexual consequences? I made a thread 2 hours ago about momma chickens and momma ducks and in those species, the "father" of the baby chicks/ducklets don't give a damn if the babies dies or not. If a prehistoric man has sex with 200 women over his lifetime and gets 50 of them pregnant, he probably doesn't care about the survival rate of his offspring relative to a mother-child bond, right? (i.e. I assume it's more devastating for the mom because a baby human depends much more on its mom because men don't breastfeed nor are capable of pregnancy)

My analysis seems suspect so I'm hoping a better explanation exists for why (evolutionarily speaking) men have evolved to become capable of spending hundreds of dollars to chat or sext with young, attractive women but women don't desire chatting or sexting with young, attractive men (at least not to the same degree).
