Ok, I've been happily married the past 6 years, and I love my wife with everything I got. I wouldn't want to be with anyone else.

That being said, my wife's cousin's best friend needs to calm down a bit. Every time we're at an event together, she is always attempting to hit on me, in front of my wife no less, too. I'm talking about:

  1. Trying to kiss me on the lips
  2. Winking at me
  3. Grabbing my ass (especially at alcohol-heavy occassions)
  4. Being extra huggy.

I give off body language that SCREAMS "knock it off," especially with my wife watching. I'm not pushing her off because I don't want to make a scene, but I try to exude "I'm uncomfortable" vibes near my wife.

In private, I've told my wife about it, and she dismisses it, saying something like "shush, she's awesome and funny, we love her."

I mean, I love her too (platonically, of course), but she needs to calm down.

Can you imagine if the genders were reversed? If a man were doing that to my wife? First off, I would not be saying "he's awesome and funny." It's degrading man.
