PUAs are just playing games with something that if you play games with, you won't ever find anything real from. So what are your goals? If it's just to get laid, play games I guess, but these games will turn you into a worse person. Honestly at that point just pay for sex, at least that way you won't become some deceptive womanizer.

But if it's to find something more substantial, these guys have no idea how to do this, because none of them have ever actually had a successful, mutually caring longterm relationship.

You’ve got to stop bargaining with the red pill. “Not like the other PUA’s” is just a gimmick. If you want advice about how to interact with women talk to an older man or woman you look up to.

I'll take devils advocate on this one (counter to the existing comments thus far)

David D'Angelo used to say that the reason you practice approaching and interacting with so many women is so that someday when it's really with "the one" you care about you don't fuck it up. Practice till it's engrained in who you are to be relaxed, funny, a good storyteller, whatever.

It seemed like what David d (Elan Pagan or whatever) was teaching sometimes was how to not be as autistic when you're an introverted nerd who's not used to talking to women.

Now maybe things have turned a bit more aggressive and negative since the days of "cocky and funny", it wouldn't surprise me. But not everybody was trying to have a harem with that pua material, some where trying to leverage it into one decent long term relationship.

Similar to self-defense classes or a shooting range, you train a lot before the time it actually matters. That's my view. Would love to hear how I'm wrong tho

Let's break it down. Which part do you want to be true the most? The bit about cold approach? About something blackpill-specific (it doesn't make immediate sense to me that blackpill would be at all compatible with approaching people in general, but feel free to talk about how those might overlap)? Something else?

I think you're asking your question politely and expressing a questioning attitude that seems useful and healthy. I'll be blunt though: I don't find much of anything that rings particularly true about the redpill or blackpill in my own experience. Clearly there's something that resonates with some people out there or we wouldn't have heard of them, and I do try to find ways to connect with people on that since I think that's probably helpful for people trying to make sense of their own experiences, explore boundaries of ideas and find some social calibration. For example: I can probably relate to the experience that I think might draw some people towards pills that there is a maddening amount of uncertainty in dating and relationships. I can also relate to rejection hurting. I could even relate to the idea that sometimes it's good to hold yourself back just a little bit rather than, say, being the kind of guy that would declare your love on the first date, or text nonstop early on, or that kind of thing. It's also true that there are a lot of people out there with issues with intimacy and commitment that might make you or me more attractive to them if you're even more withholding than I'm describing. None of that makes leaning hard into any of that or treating any of it as if it must be some global and deterministic truth of everyone's experience all the time a good idea though.

How would you ideally have hoped for people to respond?
