I once knew a girl in pre-med who said her goal in life was to make an outpatient procedure to be able to donate an egg and have it fertilize another egg. Interesting stuff. But her reasoning was that "Then we can finally render men unnecessary, prevent male births, and finally wipe men off the face of the Earth."

But if that's all it takes in her mind to render men unnecessary, the argument goes both ways. If you can do one, it stands to reason you can do the other. So like, perhaps we shouldn't be valuing people based on how "necessary" they are.

I mean, not gonna lie, if there were a way to allow men the choice to get pregnant I'd absolutely be down for it.

Honestly I think the science is so far off and artificial wombs would happen well in advance of male pregnancy that it's not something I'm planning on ever seeing.

Also, I'm basically nonbinary and would love to live androgynously if I could, so I'm very biased. I'm not sure most guys would want the ability to get pregnant lol.
