Well more accurately male victims of women. If women are recognized as equally capable of cruelty and malice, their narrative that these things are due to sexism crumbles.

This was the case way before feminism was mainstream guys, just feminism is the main thing keeping people from seeing men as victims right now, but I bet a lot of trad cons have a hard time seeing men as victims and women as perpetrators.

I used to be a supervisor in an Emergency Room. Many years ago our bosses decided that all females over 14 needed to be screened for domestic violence. I objected and argued with them that men are victims of domestic violence as well. I brought up that everybody needs to bbe screened. They looked at me funny and stated females were more likely to be abused, so it stood that only females over 14 were screened. The very next day EMS brought in a guy with a head injury. Apparently, he was home watching TV, his girlfriend came in the door after drinking and doing coke all day. She went berserk screaming, yelling and hitting him. She went in the kitchen grabbed a pot and started hitting him in the head with it. You can bet I brought it to their attention. Within a year the policy was changed to asking everybody.
