Everyone seems to gravitate towards a set number of what’s to high or what’s to low.

I often see men say something along the lines of “after 5 or 6 she’s not marriage material”

However, I don’t see how 1-2 extra people can be of such an influence.

7 is closer to 5 than it is 10 right? So what’s with people rounding 7 to 10 and then saying 10+ = XYZ.

In addition, age certainly has to play a role as the older we get, the more of life we will have lived / experienced. So to hold a 30 year old to the same standard of a 18 year old seems odd.
