Why would any magazine even one as low as Salon publish such utter Rubbish.

One of the first things that floored me was referring to critical race theory as right wing. Does the author live in a mirror universe where everything is reverse? Critical race theory (a part of critical theory) was developed largely by the Frankfurt School and has been a huge influence on identity politics pushed primarily by the left.

Being anti-feminist typically means one doesn’t think women deserve to be advantaged over men. It has nothing to do with white nationalism. Anti-feminism is a reaction to feminism, not white nationalism. This should be obvious.

A judge looked at the preliminary evidence and decided Depp’s case was a legitimate case and should go to trial. Who is the author to think she knows better than a judge? (Win or lose, the case itself is legitimate).

Also, why would someone seeking justice through legal means radicalize young men? It seems to me movements like MeToo which try to circumvent justice are what radicalize people. There’s nothing radical about using our legal system as it’s designed to be used.

I’d like to know just what drugs the author was on when she wrote this fantasy.

Simply watching the trial puts the lie to this farce organ article. The author clearly has a virulent hatred for Depp.

All the right wing hate group name dropping was a shock. Most reasonably progressive people I know would recoil at the tone of this text, completely devoid of any information to support the assertions.

I don’t expect much from Salon, but this article reads like the author just throw a bunch of darts at a board with recent political buzzwords and strung them together. Like Johnny Depp, CRT, Buffalo don’t actually have anything to do with each other.
