Usually what happens is the man "finally hits back" and THEN everyone else in the area suddenly NOTICES and screams at him for "hitting a woman" and takes turns to punch him themselves a lot more.

I may get downvoted, but people; When you are a certain size compared to an opponent, you are somewhat responsible for their safety. I wouldn't strike a woman not because of her gender, but because she's less than half my size. If you can grasp their wrist and give them a green-stick fracture you can collapse their face with a punch. I'm not passing judgement, this isn't a criticism; I'm just pointing out that, in all things, a person needs to be in control. Giving someone brain damage is easier than you think.

You cannot claim self-defense when you have a person pinned against a vehicle. If he had backed off and been pursued and hit, then he could have defended himself.

I predict he will be charged and convicted of assault.

From what I see is that the guy is holding the door from being closed or opened. Talked about passes being made at (I have no idea what that means). Blindly, backhands the woman, we don't know if it connected with her or not. Which doesn't matter in the eyes of the law, battery/assualt is offensive display or contact with a person or on their persons. For practically anywhere in the US, (assuming that this the US) that can merit defensive action. Regardless, it definitely connects with her phone.

So, she states that. She begins defend herself and hit him but, is unable to land any effective hits. Either due to her size but, clearly from her position, as effective strikes come from the legs and waist unless you have very large arms (So, I doubt any of us could have properly defended ourselves in this position).

The assailant stands there continually blocking the woman in (which is often illegal in most states I've looked up in) while feigning victimization from her strikes until he finally gives her the full body strike that the woman was unable to ever do.

After that her very apathetic friend continues to calmly record, while the equally apathetic man speak of the unconsciousness of the woman, neither regards to her actual condition (suspicious for both imo). They ignore the victim seemingly on the floor and walk up to each other and the man seems to move to go after the woman...

... to shake hands, hug, beat her, or just bang each other... idk. I like to think they kith and stayed as POS's with each other and left the other woman alone.
