Possible, yes. Probable? Not a fucking chance. Don't keep your expectations high, if she's a crack-head skank and you're perfectly reputable, she's gonna win all the time.

I'd advise you to talk to an attorney, but while I don't know how the law works in CO(I'm from Canada) up here the odds of getting full custody would be VERY low, most dads are lucky to get 2 weekends/month around here.

If you can prove you're the more engaged parent by far you might have a shot, but I've only personally seen dads get full custody in severe neglect/abuse cases.

The standard for a father is best interests of the child but a mother only needs to be "good enough", to not be a danger to the child. Watching TV is how most mothers raise children today so you'll get no traction there.

I recommend going for 50/50 as this would be a win/win. She would have time off from the child and you would be able to get your daughter out and socialize.

Then, when she's older, after 12 years, your daughter can request to live with you.

You would need to have ironclad proof that the mother is abusing the child, doing drugs illegal activities etc in front of the child, abusing the child, etc etc

Of course. Ultimately, the court will put the child's well-being above everything else. I don't have much advice regarding the legal aspects as I was 16 when my father filed for divorce.

Dude, if none of these people are family law attorneys in Colorado, and more specifically the county in which you or the mother lives, you shouldn’t be listening to them. Ask your local community. Somebody you know may have gone through something similar. Get advice on the attorneys or firm to hire. Save your money, and hire a lawyer.

Family courts are heavily biased in favor of women, and will give them the benefit of the doubt whenever possible. So, unless she is a giant train wreck, and you are father of the year, You aren't getting full custody.
