I fell victim to the trap of a woman with two kids. She convinced me that every man was absolutely terrible. She put me on a pedestal that seemed to be like nothing i had ever gotten before. Prior to this i was with two kids and a fantastic woman of seven years. She cheated on me so the woman i rebounded with caught me hook line and sinker.

I remember around the start perhaps two months in she proposed to me and i was dumbstruck though with my lack of experience in the dating market i didn’t take that as the massive red flag that should have guided me to her door. She then told me that she was embarrassed to admit to her friends that she proposed and that i should tell her friends that i did it without a ring and she would say that she didnt need a ring.

I know as i write this how ridiculous it sounds.

Her first kids dad went to prison three years into the childs life. So she chose another man and decided to have another child with him.

Both of these men, to my surprise were utterly horrible to her. I thought at the time how could anyone behave in such a way to you, in my mind at the time she was perfect and completely unflawed. How could anyone ever hurt you i thought. She even divulged the second kids dad according to her alleged to force himself upon her..! I was astounded. Why didn’t you go to the police I remember asking. To which i was told there wasn’t enough evidence. She soon opened up to me about this repeatedly happening throughout her relationships. I began to grow weary.

I despised the men that she would talk to me about and further did she worm her way into my mind until one day i were sat on the sofa and i saw a text from another man. Not just a text from a man, but one from a man who she had previously had a sexual relationship with. It read something along the lines of ‘i hope youre okay’ She was in another room and i turned the phone over as if to disguise the fact that id seen it.

I swallowed the frog in my throat because the rose tinted spectacles suddenly shattered. I asked her straight up, have you been speaking to someone. And ofcourse you dont need to read this sentence to work out she denied it. I pretended to believe her because if she was playing games i thought it was time to try and get out. But the more i tried to leave the more intense the manipulation was. She would flirt with men and then parade this to me to make me feel jealous. She would threaten self harm and suicide.

Now to alot of people, particularly her friendship group i too am an abusive ex. I did so much for her and when it ended i even wrote a letter to try and suggest that we put all the bad memories behind us. But to no avail. A few weeks later after the closure i had the worst day of my life. I was taken in to a police station and treated like i behaved the way she described every man had done to her before me.

Im not a nice guy by any stretch, i have my flaws, and there were many things i could’ve done better. However with hindsight i dont think anything I couldve done better wouldve improved the ending. I now have a complete mistrust towards women and have not been able to commit to a woman without fear of her utterly deceiving me.

I think that by finding this community it has comforted me in that i now realise that i didn’t meet the devil, i just met one of the many, many, many self entitled cock carousel riding young ladies.

She would say many of the things that you find on memes. She would imply im not like the rest. Though the fact is, i was just a lame provider that she was draining until she found a bigger more well funded D.

She couldnt accept that i wanted to leave her because she knew her relationship market value was low. So out of spite, she went full psyco. And thats the reality with women like this. They have a free pass to treat men however they want and if the man pisses them off or upsets them then theyll be walking on eggshells until she gets that orgasm youre there to provide.

Im 27 and im glad im realising this now because with two kids of my own.. all efforts will go into them and unless theyre smart successful and childfree its a hard pass from me.
