Hello! Not sure if this is the correct sub, but I wanted your opinions (both men and women) on this matter.

A bit of context.

I'm 27, have a stable 9 to 5 job that I love, a house, a car, big social circle, hobbies and do plenty of physical activity.

Physically, I am decently tall (6ft), not very big, but have some muscles (I hate the gym, but I do rock climbing) and my face Is nothing special.

Now, this Is the thing. I have and have had a lot of female friends over the years, but I was always labeled as "that one fun friend to be around". We hang out and chill together and it's genuinely fun! They would invite me to parties, we do activities together and all that stuff. But everytime I talk about maybe looking for something more, I always get told "I don't want to ruin our friendship" or "you are such a nice dude, but I'm looking for something different", etc ... Which I respect, but am a bit frustrated by.

Also when I meet new women, we immediatly bond and have fun together, but It quickly becomes a friendship.

And I am not talking about those friendships where the male Is a doormat that simps for the woman hoping to get something. I talk about an healthy 2-way friendship.

I don't think there something wrong with how I am and I consider myself a well-adjusted and confident person, but then why does this happen? Should I treat them not as friends?

I'd love some insights and some tips to make the switch from "friend" to "boyfriend".

Thanks!
