I just searched several legal web sites to see what, if any, consequence there is for a false r*pe accusation in America. I couldn't find anything significant. In California, it's a misdemeanor that carries 6 months in jail and possible fines. A misdemeanor. The estimate is that 2-10% of r*pe allegations are false, according to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center. Some estimates go as high as 36%, but let's settle on 10%. Doesn't sound that bad? If you had 10 chambers in a g*n and only 1 had a b*llet, would you put the g*n to your head and pull the tr*gger? To add to the madness, accusers are allowed to stay anonymous, while the accused's name is made public. Equal rights for all, eh?
