Feminists will have us believe that we’re all rapists and murderers, because the vast majority of perpetrators turn out to be men. Those same women get taken out to dinners, get free drinks at the bar, come home to a house where the man pays all the bills and rarely ever gets a “thank you.” Not only that, we’re also expected to do it without complaining, crying or whining.

I’m not excusing the behaviour of a multitude of bad actors among men, but one has to wonder what drives them toward such behaviours. Is it not the insurmountable pressure men face, expected to provide and protect without receiving any gratitude? That no one cares or even wants to hear about the issues men face, perhaps is the biggest issue driving men to kill themselves in droves.

I have been banned from subreddits for being in this group. No one would be banned for being in a women’s rights group. Why is this? Because we don’t complain and we’re not supposed to. Somewhere along the line, it became inconceivable in our society that there could be more than one group facing its own unique set of issues.

I’ve never hit or raped a woman, the majority of men would never imagine themselves ever doing such a thing. I’ve supported equality since the time when that’s what feminism was meant to be. But now I know that it isn’t - human nature is far too ugly and self serving - and what it’s really all about is tearing men down, humiliation and revenge. The end result? More male suicides, murderers and rapists. Men who were perhaps mentally unstable to begin with driven over the edge.

I feel for the generation of men who feel unworthy and purposeless. We need to normalize this conversation in the face of much oppression and silencing for the benefit of our world. I don’t want my son to grow up feeling unworthy and I don’t want my wife to be the next victim of a man who was driven to the edge for the aforementioned reasons. So today, I sat down with my partner and told her this and she took it well. I guess there is hope if we lose the fear of being demonised for speaking about a real problem that requires real honest discussion.

Just a rant
