This is more common than you think. Women are petty at work. Also, if you get a female boss all of a sudden, look for a new job. Because they will only hire other women and advance other women. You will be ignored but expected to work.

Good for him. Having seen this type of clique like anti male behavior at two separate banks, my advice is to document everything. Print odd emails and keep them for your records. Use email as a way to get confirmation of unreasonable or bad behavior and print those too. When it gets to the point that they try to "manage you out", take your file with facts to HR and let them know that you will be going to a lawyer next.

Most of the female management cliques think they are untouchable so they dont usually care about how obvious their discrimination is.
