There was this comment saying this ain't a "real experiment". Well, dude, yeah, no shit. Whatever, had they ventured into the "experiment" with the intention for it to be an actual scientific research- worthy endeavour. This, to me, looked like less of a Master's thesis and more of a fun way to look into men around her to test whether the things she suspected about them were in any shape or form true. And what she found just so happened to align with the suspicions. By all means, since you men come here and critise but offer no meaningful commentary — expand on it, prove the experiment can be done better... implementing methodology used in academia, of course ;)

This is so true. I had no idea how bad men were about lying. I thought it took a special kind of psychopath to lie, especially to their partner, until I met my bf and had my entire world turned upside down. Then I realized most men I knew had lied in a deep way to both me and their partners. One of my friend's dad literally had a whole other family in another country, none of us knew until they died. It is an immensely cruel world and we really need to educate younger girls about this. I wish I knew back then, I had rose tinted glasses and was left completely in the dark.

The worst part is the fact they pretend its not a big deal and that "everyone tells lies, especially women" like that's true and actually a good reason. Smh 😔

But like, this is a pretty hasty generalization. Not all men are liers. A lot of them are actually really awesome. Some of my male friends are the best people I've ever met.
