(tried to put this on a throwaway, but fuck it i guess it’s going on my main account) i’m 23 and have been reading redpill shit since i was 17. i feel like red pill is kinda like the bible or any other religious text, where there are definitely good bits of wisdom, (lift, take care of yourself, stop bad habits that make you LDAR, getting what you want takes hard work, women/people in general gravitate towards people who seem in control, etc) but with that being said there are definitely things you can disagree with (i seriously don’t believe AWALT and there are some women who actually want a guy who’s human, has emotions and can admit their mistakes or shortcomings). if you follow EVERYTHING word for word, (which i did for a couple years) i feel like it makes you lose yourself. call me a pussy, libtard i don’t care. at the end of the day, you’re gonna be happiest accepting who YOU are as a person and knowing that you never settled. obviously being as attractive as you can be will increase the number of opportunities you have with women, but i really feel like the core of everything or what “frame” you should have is, “i am/am striving towards the best possible version of myself. take it or leave it”. i realized about a year ago that meaningless hookups were just my way of “getting back” at all the women who said i was fat, ugly, unlovable, etc in school and having that “power” over a woman (or three when i was spinning plates) for however long didn’t make ME happy so i decided to go the LTR route, be unapologetically myself and choose someone who i found attractive that could accept me for myself as much as i have (i lift every day, but still love reading comic books, making music, geeking out on nature and assuming the best in everyone i meet). basically shallow people attract shallow people. sorry if this seems like a long rant, but i’ve had this idea bouncing around in my head for a while and there was a post on here that got popular sort of talking about the same idea. i just wanted to throw my two cents in.
