For hundreds of years, women depended on men for fiscal security so they settled

Men couldnt all marry the supermodel so they settled. same logic

They don't need to settle anymore and it's during this unique era of humanity where you can truly see what exactly it is women desire. Women would rather share the same hot guys in their city than get married or date especially at a younger age

This isnt statistically true. The only way one can believe this is by looking at dating apps which are overwhelmingly male and attempting to say that a scarcity on a dating app magically means that this applies to all women when we have decades of marriage stats that say otherwise.

Like i said before, any man who attempts to blame women for his lack of luck in dating when he deliberately chooses methods where there are 3 men for every woman can only blame himself for his luck.

there was never a time in which you would get women like picking a lollipop unless you were exceptional in any point of the history, why are you acting like this is a recent, shocking devolopment? even when looks were less important, boomers had to economically provide.

i actually think this blackpill stuff is making guys less likely to try and socialize, they go ''muh studies say this'' then LDAR whereas a boomer would probably try until he landed something, now if you are going to say ''but zoomers are more isolated, loneliness and there being less opportunities to socialize or devolop social skills'' then i would %100 agree with you, the issue is people make this out to be ''looks only'' issue, instead of looking at it more nuanced. even this whole extreme lookism movement is being pushed more by corporates and elites than ''muh female nature because some dubious study said so.''

First of all I didn't say courtship was a new thing. Second of all, blackpill making guys less likely to try and socialize isn't the worst thing possible. The paradigm of men performing like dancing monkeys for women was always a broken system that gave women a Godlike advantage in dating. Courtship is fundamentally extremely toxic for men and the value they get out of it is fairly low. Men didn't care in the past and the difference now is men do care.

Men want to be approached, men want to be romanced, and just like women, we'd rather be alone than put up with a relationship where we don't get that. But worse for men, we actually have to perform for Julius Caesar's thumbs up/down to earn this lifetime of romance-less bullshit. Hint: romance is more than sex, we want to be made to feel wanted and valued.
