In your divorce judgment make sure to have the language “both parties agree to waive spousal support. Courts waive jurisdiction to award spousal support”. It’s something like that, have your attorney include that language. I used to work in CA as a child support officer and I’d have to read a lot of divorce orders, I’d see that language a lot. If she agrees to sign that and the courts make that an order or judgment then there is no change of heart later. At least in what I’ve seen.

Edit. Also, forgot to discuss child support. Go to the state website and use the guideline calculator, since she will take the kid to another country you will have zero percent custody timeshare, unless you are getting summers or something I don’t know, but punch that in with your incomes and it’ll give you an estimate, gonna be about 25% of your net.

Only if you allow it. CA is well-known for not allowing a parent to move away out of state with the child. Go read up on the famous caselaw of Berry vs Berry (as in the actress).

Where is she from? She will raise your child there that kid will not know her father. The child support you give her she will use for whatever not the child. Also if you really love your child how is it ok to not be around
