If you’ve been keeping up with me, my wife kidnapped my child and moved half way across the country. She tried to file for custody in the new state and I filed in the real state.

The new state and her lawyer has been holding up the case for 6 months now and we’re being told that her lawyer won’t be free to even schedule a hearing for jurisdiction (not even custody) for another 2-3 months. They’re trying to hold up even having a hearing for almost a year.

Spoke to both attorneys (I need 1 in both states) and they’re sounding like they know I’m being effed over at this point and there’s nothing they can do about it. I wish I could tell you what was discussed.

Anyone reading this considering leaving your wife or fear that she is, take the kids away from her and file first. Don’t allow her access to the kids and move as far away as you can.
