Separated for about a year now. Ex is a nursing student. Most recently signed into a job that pays over $300k a year. we have not filed anything. Wish i did when i graduated as i did not make any money back then. The kids are with me. We all lived in Illinois but she wanted kids in California. So i moved to CA with the kids.

She threatens shes going to take everything from me and hints that she will take most of my income because she is entitled to it. I spoke to a few attorneys so far. It seems california is less friendly for a divorce. My ex is cohabitating with someone, which might help not pay alimony. any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
