What she sold and ownership would determine whether or not you could sue her. If a car title says X or Y, she can sell it without you. If only her name is on the house she can sell it without you. Any way you look at it though it becomes a matter for the civil court to flush out. And if you claim that certain property was separate and not subject to marital property rules, it's on you to prove that.

If the property was in your name, or jointly owned, it sounds like she committed fraud. Property laws differ by state, but if she signed your name in order to sell, she could be criminally charged if you file a complaint.

I would get a lawyer to sort out the civil affairs and the potential criminal actions.

Not really.

In a marriage, you're the same legal entity. So if you tried to sue her, you would be in effect, suing yourself.

You can use those facts as grounds for a divorce. But really, courts won't care.

If the property was in your name only how did she get authority to sell it?

If she wrongfully sold your property then in most states you should be able to sue her. If it was marital property half of it is probably hers anyway. With you being incarcerated did she it to sell the property to live?
