Pretty much what the title says. I'm trying to go back to my home state to visit with family for a couple weeks this summer. Our decree states we have to ask for permission to take our daughter out of state. She's (mom) going to be out of state for training (military) the entire summer. I want to take advantage of the time by going back to my home state so our daughter can see my side of the family. She's refusing to "agree" in writing.

Instead, she wants our daughter to be enrolled in numerous camps over the summer which would take time away from me being with our kid. I asked my daughter and she doesn't want to do the camps, she'd rather go visit family. She has our daughter over the school year (with me every other weekend) and I get her over the summer (with her every other weekend - except this summer of course due to mom being gone).

If she keeps refusing, do I just submit a request for order thru the courts?

Also, I'm tired of going thru my lawyer. These crazy nuances have cost me thousands of dollars and I'm done with spending money on this craziness of hers.

Thanks
